In Capitalism 10% of the people might own 905 of the wealth but in socialism 1% of the population, ie10% of the bureaucrats, politicians, academics and media personnel will totally own 1005 of the remaining wealth. That is you, as an indivdual, will own nothing!

Socialism is merelly a return to the Holy Roman Empire, where elite, aristocratic progressive party leaders, in alliance with various Patrician, plutocratic princes, rule with the capriciousness and dictatorial despotism of feudal lords. Even Lenin granted such power to his “vanguards of the Revolution”, potentates who would ostensible and eventually renounce their wealth and priviledges when the proletariat became enlightened enough. The OWS crowd has these would be Robbespierres and Dhurzhinskies. OWS is merely a re-incarnation of Mao’s Red Guard

“OWS is merely a reincarnation of Mao’s Red Guard”?? And here I thought freedom of speech and assembly were still a civil right in the United States. I guess the Republican guard must be against those rights.

Triston, just because the rational thinkers amongst you do not agree with the movement and feel that it is synonymous with “Mao’s Red Guard” or the hippie movement of the 60′s, does not automatically mean that we disregard the rights to speak freely or peaceably assemble. The problem most of us have with the OWS movement is in HOW they assemble. Rape, violence, defecating & urinating on private property, etc. They are breaking laws in the HOW part of it. On a more opinionated platform, I just think most of them are uninformed, just wanted to assemble out of some desire to produce chaos and disorder.
